Keller 4-H Projects

A 4-H project is made up of three types of activities:

  • Hands-on activities: making, producing, practicing, observing, testing, interviewing, caring for, etc.
  • Organized activities: demonstrations, speeches, workshops, camps, county judging, project activities, exhibits, etc.
  • Leadership/Citizenship activities: conducting, planning, teaching, assisting, informing, organizing, etc.

Alpaca

The Alpaca/Llama project is a super fun project that meets once a month on the third Thursday of each month. We learn about alpacas/ llamas and have many hands-on activities and field trips. We go to both an Alpaca farm and a Llama farm once or twice a year. We meet at WestWind Church off Sarah Brooks Rd. in Keller. There are also opportunities to show alpacas, even if you don’t own one. There is no cost to join the project, but you must be a 4-H member. We hope you will join us!🦙♥️🦙

Leadership & Life

We show up brave, not perfect.

We lean into discomfort, not away from it.

We challenge each other with respect, and grow together without embarrassment or fear.

We lift each other up, every single time.

AND we will have FUN!
